Mama Tried Irving, a honky-tonk and sports tavern, opened October 2019 on Texas Lottery Plaza across from the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, joining 16 restaurants and bars at the Toyota Music Factory.

Mama Tried has a large bar in the center of the room with a wrap-around bar that seats 30. There is a spacious patio overlooking Texas Lottery Plaza, and 24 flatscreens for sports.

The 5,000 sq ft music venue features live country music, from Bluegrass to classic country hits, to outlaw.
